ETSY Find of the Day.
ETSY gets a lot of flack from various outlets and even one blog entirely devoted to making light of people crafting things. While I will admit there are some things on ETSY that don’t particularly ‘fill-my-stein’, most of the stuff on the popular crafting and homemade site is quite fantastic. Take for instance ETSY seller Freelandstudios, they have come up with a creative solution for those of us that have a cell phone and no home phone. For me when I get home I usually place the phone somewhere and because I have had it on silent at work all day I forget about it and when I do end up finding it, I have gotten 15 texts from my mom and 400 missed calls. I’m popular, get over it.
They have re-purposed the rotary-phone*, incorporating space for your smart phone, and they equipped it with the USB power attachment! Very cool.
*Authors note: a rotary phone, for all the youngin’s out there is a phone with a wheel instead of buttons. You generally didn’t want to have very many friends with a lot of 9’s in their numbers. Trust.
